My Ultimate Passion - Building Busineses

This is helping people create businesses. I have a soft spot for start-ups and people that really want to build a business. So it is my goal to dedicate this blog to helping people find the tid-bits that work. And if you need a little hand-holding - I'm a consultant as well.

Learn How to Sell & Never Work Again

I took a 2 week trip this month and went to 2 conferences.

‘Never Work Again’ with Peak Potentials (A.K.A. — Harv Eker’s Seminars) and SalesDogs (Blair Singer’s Seminar). Totally Awesome experiences that I would highly recommend. They reach into the practical and experiential realms of business and more important — life. If you have never heard of Harv Eker, I invite you to expand your mind and go to one of his seminars for free. Just click on the link below and use the code supplied. I give a lot of credit of success in my life to this man’s teaches and his incredible seminars.

Learning is a continuous adventure. I learn and re-learn at every event, book, article that I read.

“We’re All in This Together”

I heard this song the other day and like magic, I had an ephiphany. This song sums up life so easily. It sums up how to live how you want to live. It sums up religion. It sums up politics. It sums up sex. All those things, we’re not suppose to talk about over dinner. It even sums up how to build your business.

You will never do anything in life by yourself. You need the world to make anything happen. Do you get it? The world is apart of your dream.

You will meet new people today, or come in contact with people you already know. Listen. Take in what they are saying. They are part of your world. There will be hints in their communication as to what you need to do in order to succeed in life. Because, “We’re All in This Together”.

One Of These Days

I have heard this statement so many times in my life I can just puke. I ‘ve even said it myself which makes me even sicker.  Guys and gals - get this sick statement out of your head. This statement is so weak that it does nothing but support your current mediocre life. If you truely want to achieve something in your life - the time is now. Carpe Diem!

Use the statemen below to replace that aweful saying, “One of these days… I’m going to have my own business.

Today, I am going to start my business.

No Pain, No Gain

Coming up with ideas for a business is the easiest thing in the world to do. You just have to ask one simple question?

What is a pain?

It’s really that simple. Let me walk you through a normal morning of mine. See if you can spot any pains.

8.00 am - I wake up and go downstairs to let the barking dog outside.
8.05 am - I make myself some breakfast. Microwave vs. Cereal vs. Fruit.
8.10 am - I quiclkly eat my breakfast while I read the Bible. Running late.
8.30 am - I pack my lunch hurredly, and give the dog a treat as I walk out the door.
8.32 am - I update the CDs in my car for the commute to my office.
8.35 am - I begin dodging potholes on Illinois roads for the next hour.
9.35 am - I park my car and take a minute to compose myself.
9.40 am - I walk into the office.

Do you get it? Can you write a list of pains in your life? What can you do to address any of these pains? Would anyone pay for a solution to any of them?

Motivation Does Not Work

Motivation is a lot like Chinese food. You get full pretty quickly and after a while — you are still hungry.

Anyone that has ever owned a business and got on the bandwagon of motivational speakers knows this truth. I’m not saying that motivational speakers are a bad thing - they are only part of a solution. I firmly believe that you need motivation in life. And there are a ton of other things you need.

Here are 3 things that are mandatory to building a sucessful business that are aligned around motivation.

1. Committment - Make a promise to yourself and others.
2. Perserverance - Repeat every single day.
3. Belief - Believe in yourself, no one else can do this for you.

To quote one of my favorite motivational entrepreneurs, T. Harv Eker, “Practice does not make perfect - it makes permanent.” So get off your ass, and start practicing…

Commit yourself to your business, Do it every day for the next 90 days, and celebrate all sucesses (large and small) to build up your confidence so you believe that you can suceed.
